She would not have wanted her daughter to go, and both parents were surely relieved that Elizabeth did return home from it. They were not going to help Elizabeth travel to Europe or to study in Vienna , until , I would guess, she had graduated from UVA. She was on a kind of probation, though family and friends were being very careful. Her brother in Texas, a doctor, was becoming uneasy about the situation.
Although I understand English quite well, I'm waiting for the German edition of your book.

I enjoy reading the book although I am already pretty well informed about the details. It’s nice to read things in sequence.
