Sie haben in Deutschland dafür gesorgt, dass es nicht mehr möglich ist, das Herr Söring seine Unschuldsbehauptungengen weiter verbreiten kann.

Since 4 years, now I am very convinced about the fact that both had been at the scene and so I can follow the Netflix end very easily.
Maybe I am too empathetic, but there is a part in me which is able to understand Soering's behaviour from a logical point of view. He sticks to his narrative of being not guilty, cause the forensic evidence gave him the opportunity to do it. And on the other hand Elizabeth had lied, telling everyone that he alone did the killings and blaming him alone for the deed.
Everybody could think of an outcome that they both will fail a polygraph test being asked about the murder night and that a DNA retesting will probably connect them to the scene. So they both doesn't have learn any additional values concerning moral or ethical values. Being truthful or being responsible for what they really have done.
What I don't understand is why Chuck Reid is not advising Soering to do a polygraph test to strengthen Soering's claims of innocent. Cause Reid as an ex-investigator should argue that there is the possibility that Soering could have been at the scene and not only being convinced by the existence of a reasonable doubt due to insufficient evidence.
Ich bin mal gespannt, ob sich in Sachen Söring zu unseren Lebzeiten noch etwas Interessantes ergeben wird. Ein Geständnis Sörings auf dem Totenbett vielleicht? Wer weiss. Auf jeden Fall wäre es schön, wenn wir auch in ferner Zukunft hier noch was Neues zu diesem Fall lesen könnten. "Wer eine Korrelation findet, darf sich die Kausalität dazu gerne aussuchen." (ironische Feststellung auf dem Blog Hadmut Danisch). Herr Söring hatte halt das Pech, dass Herr Hammel und ich im Dezember 1968 geboren sind. Das hatte offensichtlich Folgen für die Beurteilung des Falls! 😉
Baby Boomer, hattest du jetzt endlich dein literarisches Outcome...für wie doof hälst Du den Profilügner Söring, in einem mit viel Zeit geschriebenen literarischen Werk seine Schuld eindeutig zu benennen. Zumal seine Anwältin es vor der Veröffentlichung gegengelesen hat! Lies Dir besser nochmal den Gesmtkontext durch. Du solltest eher darauf achten, was er unter Druck in London rausgelassen hat. Und da sprach er davon, dass beide in der Nacht zum Tatort gefahren sind, was er in seinem letzten Geständnis bekräftigte!
So ein Unsinn. Gail Marshall hat 1995 für ihn die Writ/Petition of Habeas Corpus verfasst. Bestimmt nicht mit einem Tag Vorbereitung. Außerdem steh sie im Vorwort Du "Experte".
