Their legal arguments weren't frivolous, but both I and my lawyer found them very weak. And so, apparently, did the court. I might post a longer analysis later, but be warned -- it might get wonky.

I don't get Söring's and Grulert's strategy here. The latter is supposed to be trained lawyer – how did he think this was going to end?
