You know the testimony of Elmer Gist and you have the demand from the investigators to the DFS for a DNA examination concerning all swabs which are in charge to be from the murderer. This is dated in 1989! And you really know the official answer of the DFS signed by Gist. It had only to do with the material on the relevant swabs! You can also follow all the files of the defense attourney Ball and Marshall if they mention the lack of DNA and evidence to bolster Soering's situation having no blood evidence from crime scene swabs cause the blood on them had been allready consumed.
