My New YouTube Series on the Söring Case, Part 1
In which I plug my book (of course), give an overview of the case, and highlight the most important evidence.
Some people prefer to listen to information instead of reading it, so I’m going to make videos and a podcast about the Soering case. Here’s the first one, called “Introduction and Six Key Items of Evidence”. The production values are pretty simple, but they’ll improve as I get the hang of things. Let me know what you think in the comments (either here or on YouTube). If you have suggestions for future topics, I’m all ears.
Dear Mr Hammel, even though I already know all your articles in the FAZ, I have read all the available transcripts of the trial including all of Sörings variants of confessions as well as the report by Terry Wright and above all your excellent book "Martyr or Murderer" on the Söring case, this is nevertheless an exciting and very true addition. Söring is a murderer, a notorious liar, an impostor (FAZ on 22 January 2020). But psychologically also a phenomenon. Thank you very much for your serious, thorough work to shed light on this phenomenon. Keep up the good work.
Great to see you’re adding videos to the mix! I agree it’s how a lot of people get their content these days. I think the short form stuff is important too.. YouTube shorts, Instagram, TikTok etc. Informative video, and I look forward to more.
