A Preview of Jens Soering's Upcoming Fall "Innocence" Offensive

Will Jens Soering sacrifice the Haysom family's privacy and dignity to revive his moribund innocence campaign?

On April 30, 2025, Jens Söring posted this (German language) TikTok video. He complains about how the German media have turned against him in the past few years. He has said he will be entering a “summer pause”, But, he adds cryptically: “Now the tables are turning. In the background, not in public. But I’m looking forward to it. And the people who have attacked me (fertig gemacht) in the past few years can also look forward to it.” His new innocence legend will apparently premiere in autum 2025.

Sounds mysterious, doesn’t it? It’s not, actually. The “revelations” Söring is planning for his hundreds of thousands of social-media followers (187,000 come from TikTok, which is suspiciously high) will likely be based on the following: A member of the Haysom family named Jackie (not her real name) has accused two of Derek and Nancy Haysom’s sons of murdering their own parents, with Elizabeth helping at the crime scene. This person has released a YouTube video, and has also created a GoFundMe campaign to raise money, purportedly for her intended campaign to prove her own family members are murderers and child molesters.

You can find these documents online (for now) and many already have. I won’t link them because I do not believe these grave accusations are supported by enough evidence to warrant amplifying them. They are supported in fact by no evidence, and can be easily disproved (and were disproved) by documentary and physical proof.

I have been in direct email contact with two members of the Haysom family for some time now. They contacted me — not vice-versa — once they saw I was providing effective fact-based counterarguments to Jens Soering’s claims. I have never been in direct contact with Elizabeth Haysom, who continues to refuse almost all direct contact with journalists. I have never asked for or been offered any compensation of any kind for my work. My sole aim is to provide fact-based commentary and analysis of the Soering case.

With that out of the way, let’s look at what’s happening behind the scenes. As always, I am drawing on multiple sources here, some of which I can name and some of which must remain anonymous for now. I’ll go through what I know point-by-point.

Jackie’s Background: This post is not about Jackie, it is about Jens Soering. However, even judging by the YouTube video and GoFundMe posts alone, it is apparent Jackie is undergoing a mental-health crisis. She was a young child at the time of the murders and cannot possibly have any first-hand information about them. She has suffered abuse in the past, although not at the hands of the people she now accuses. Understandably, she has a history of mental illness. She was nevertheless able to build a successful career, and is clearly a capable and intelligent person when she is emotionally stable. Unfortunately, she has recently suffered serious personal setbacks. That’s all I’m going to say about Jackie, because this post is about Jens Soering.

Famous Lawyer: On April 20, 2025, a world-famous lawyer sent Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin a letter which explicitly referenced Jackie’s allegations. I have contacted the representatives of this lawyer asking for comment. They informed me that this person has read my emails but is currently ill. I promised not to identify this person until I had heard from them personally. I can’t say more at this time.

Soering’s Book about Elizabeth: In two December 2024 YouTube episodes of the podcast “We’re not Friends” (Keine Freunde), Söring repeatedly mentioned new revelations which would shortly come to light, and even said, if I recall correctly, that he was writing a book about “Elizabeth”. In retrospect, these hints seem almost certainly to be references to the allegations of Jackie, who claims without proof that Elizabeth collaborated with two of her half-brothers to murder Derek and Elizabeth Haysom. She even claims Elizabeth “drugged” Derek and Nancy’s drinks to help her half-brothers murder her parents (no drugs were found in their autopsies). I think it is logical to conclude Soering’s upcoming book about Elizabeth, if it ever comes out, will revolve around these allegations.

Richard Haysom speaks out: Richard Haysom is Jackie’s father. He was identified as one of the murderers of his own parents, and an abuser of Jackie, in the GoFundMe post. He has authorized me to confirm publicly that these allegations are false. He was eliminated as a suspect in the killings of Derek and Nancy Haysom early on based on conclusive evidence. He is deeply hurt by these allegations, but understands that they are a product of mental illness. Like all members of the Haysom family, he desperately wishes the world would leave them alone to live their lives in privacy and dignity.

Will Soering let them? Time will tell. The ball is in Soering’s court. Will he behave with decency and circumspection for once? We’ll see…this coming autumn.
